What Are the Akashic Records? | What Happens During a Session?

The Akashic Records do not exist on Earth, but rather they exist within the field of consciousness. You can think of these records as the library of your life. Everything you have ever done, created, thought about, or thought about creating is cataloged and organized there, for this and every past and potential lifetime. Also, within the records there is an entire class of non-physical entities whose job it is to curate, manage, and work with that information. We call them the Record Keepers. You can think of them as the librarians of your own personal library.

What does It do?

With the help of the Record Keepers we can get you broader knowledge and context for the questions you have about your life. We can also ask for help from the Record Keepers to clear stuck energy and karma patterns which are ready to be released.

Why would You do it?

Come in for an Akashic Records reading when you want accurate and clear information about why your life has come together the way it has or about how to move forward most effectively.

Present Patterns Arising from Past Trauma

Let's say that you have noticed a pattern where each of your relationships follows the same trajectory. With the help of the Records we can find out where in your history this pattern was originally formed and where it anchored for you.

The patterns are often created and anchored in response to traumatic experiences in your past. We can find out what was going on in each of these instances. What was your soul trying to achieve when you chose this experience? 

What is the lesson in it for you?

As the roots of the pattern are resolved and the energy is cleared, the rest of the pattern can release from your field, changing your perception of the past and the way that you create in the future.

Present Choices & Future Potentials

The Records can also be used to help guide you in pivotal decisions. Let's say you are considering a move. The Records can give you perspective on potential outcomes. Alternatively, once you have decided that you are going to move, the Records can help you choose between houses.

What Happens During a Session

How the Session Starts

I start every reading with some time to answer any questions you might have for me about the work or about the process before we get to your questions for the Records proper.

Grounding Meditation

After our initial discussion, I lead a short grounding meditation to set the energy of the space and to get us ready to connect to the Records.

After the meditation, I will open the connection to the Records with a prayer and a period of silence while we are moving into the fullness of your Records.

In the Records

Once your Records are open and the connection has been established, I will let you know you can begin to ask your first question.

Working in the Records is conversational.

You ask a question.

I tell you what the Record Keepers say.

We can drill down on topics and refine questions. Helping you do this is part of my job as your Records Consultant.

It's worth noting that the Record Keepers are often not forthcoming with information unless we actually ask about it, so a lot falls upon you to be curious and to ask about the things you want to know about. I will make an effort to let you know of any interesting avenues of inquiry related to whatever we might be working on.

The work in the Records will continue until we run out of questions or until the Record Keepers give us the "all done" signal.

At that point we will take a minute to answer any final questions from you and to get any final messages from the Record Keepers. We will close down to connection to the Records with another prayer, which I will say out loud.
